can we go over a little movie theater etiquette?

1. Please keep your children out of the theater. Most of the movies I see aren’t really kid friendly anyways, why are there kids there? If your kid is like under 7, really I dont want to see him in anything but Shrek, cause they’ll get bored and talk. I got to movies to avoid small children, not listen to them talk and kick my seat for two hours. And stop bringing your kids to R-Rated movies, its bad. “They dont undersand it. it dosn’t matter.” Im pretty sure repeated exposure to graphic sex scenes, and violence that are in movies now a days are not good for small children. get a babysitter. if you can’t afford one, you shouldn’t be taking your entire family to a movie anyways.

2. No fucking texting. If you’re the only one in the theater, OR the only people in the theater are sitting like three rows in front of you, fine, I dont care, I do it too then. but otherwise, you get one warning before I will kick you. Im serious. It’s fucking rude, and it gives me a headache, it also disturbs everyone in a twenty foot radius. that little light is fucking bright. if your teaming social life was that important, you wouldn’t spend it in a theater not talking to your friends who you’re with.

3. Don’t comment on everything that happens. “NO WAY, HE DID NOT JUST DO THAT!” Actually, he did. “Look at her dress.” I am, it’s called watching the movie. “Oh look what he’s going to do now” I am actually, again, I am watching this movie too. Shut up. A few whispered comments to your friends is fine, I do that too when I go with people sometimes. but the people that comment out loud about everything, seriously, shut up.
